PRACTICAL
Adjustment Layers and Filters
We tried out the techniques shown the tutorial videos to our own digital
collages.
Week 4 Practical
From Fig 1.0, you can see my work process on Photoshop. I am practicing organizing my layers better.
Fig 1.1: Draft (16/9/2021)
In the draft, I focused on the brightness and contrast of the image. I also kept the red saturated so that it stands out as an emphasis to the image.
Fig 1.2: Final Edit (16/9/2021)
Since the original photo had complementary colors of red and green, I wanted to change the hues to orange and blue, another complementary color. I increased the levels so the overall picture looks darker. Other than that, I increased the contrast of the leaves and the machine so that they appear better in front of the white background.
